I’ve definitely been watching Michelle Obama’s fashion choices. It’s hard not to when it’s constantly being analyzed. I guess that’s because it’s true how you dress says a lot about you.
Last night as President Barack Obama addressed Congress, Michelle was wearing a plum sleeveless dress. When the camera scanned up to her in the crowd, I was surprised. I myself would never have the confidence to wear a sleeveless dress while sitting amongst Congress.
I sometimes have second thoughts about wearing something sleeveless in front of my grandparents. And if I do during winter, I usually have to listen to everyone saying, “Aren’t you cold?”
I am not saying I am opposed to it. It definitely made an impression. It put a lot of focus on her arms, which are toned and muscular even. If anything it made her look strong. She takes risks, and I like it.
