First day of fall poem and outfit post

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
- Robert Frost
Now that we have heard from Mr. Frost, we can move onto fashion for the day. It was actually quite green when I took this picture. A more recent walk through the park and some of my more recent photos show that the leaves have begun to change. For this outfit, I did something I normally wouldn't do. I wore something very long with something kind of baggy. Usually I think that drowns a person, especially me at 5'4. I'm in that weird in between height that isn't tall but isn't short either. I don't want to go too much in one direction. Nicole Richie seems to be able to pull off the whole baggy bohemian look, and she is a lot shorter than me, but she is also a lot cooler than me. Anyways, for some reason I like the way this tunic looks with these wide leg jeans. The tunic is actually nicely fitted throughout and the belt helps too.
Forever 21 tunic and necklace; Seven for Mankind jeans; J.Crew necklace; Banana Republic belt; Ann Taylor (thrifted shoes)
