Scarving techniques

While browsing the Anthropologie sale section online—a guilty and probably too frequent pleasure of mine—I was inspired by the styling of these product shots for this scarve. I am pretty familiar with most "scarving techniques", but quite honestly, these styles just never occurred to me. With the rise in popularity of the 70s, the scarve only seems like a natural accessory to compliment those styles.

I thought these "How to tie a scarve" sketches were pretty charming. There are many more ways than I imagined to tie a scarve. You would be surprised.

Lastly, American Apparel has started carrying vintage silk scarves ranging from $18 to $75. I would snatch up either the sailboat print for something cute and nautical, the J print for the vibrant blue and red, or this vintage YSL scarve for something a little more sophisticated.
