Valentine's Day is just another excuse to dress up. Sure it's about love too, but its in the middle of February and when it's as cold as it has been I am excited to find any reason to dress cute. I put together these three simple outfits using pieces already in my closet. There is no reason to spend a lot on your outfit especially considering how much will be spent on dinner, movie tickets, etc. A little creativity can go a long way.

Winter sure loses its appeal quickly. One minute you are making snow angels, the next minute you are driving to work cursing the skies. I feel the same way about winter outfits. I've been trying to keep things fresh lately, but that poses a challenge when the only chance of staying warm is to pile on the layers. For me that often turns into the same look over and over again. Sweater, button down skirt, repeat. When I found this peplum sweater in the clearance section at the Limited, I knew it would provide that small amount of variety I needed to really up my sweater game. How are you keeping things fresh?
